Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

Job Description

Seeking to expand our team of drafters due to an increased workload. Our new drafter will join an established team of 6 to service new equipment, including complete engineered systems covering screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, vertical screw lifts, mixers and blenders. Our custom design applications range from food grade systems and grain and feed installations to abrasion-resistant units and solutions for sewage treatment facilities and the chemical industry. Your responsibilities will include preparing submittal and fabrication drawings in accordance with our company standards and customer specifications, managing your time effectively to ensure project schedules are met, and reviewing all drawings for accuracy and compliance before they are submitted or released to manufacturing.

Hard Skills

• Proficiency in Inventor is Preferred

• Experience with conveyors is preferred

Soft Skills

• Self-motivated

• Strong time management skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to check and review work for accuracy

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Burleson, Texas.

We are a tight-knit group with a focus on quality over quantity. Our company values great retention and a relaxed pace of work, where you can expect to produce about 4 drawings a day.
