Your New Role

Warner Bros. Discovery seeks a Sr. Analyst, Global Production Finance to support the reporting function for the Production Finance organization. This position requires a seasoned professional who will build strong relationships across multiple departments, build best-in-class reporting, and serve as a knowledgeable advisor to our operations partners.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Reporting – Maintain financial reporting for all studios within WBD. Financial reporting will include greenlights, budgets, and current costs, as well as production incentives and cash forecasts. Other reporting will include production accountant assignments, soundstages, production location information, and production schedules.

  • Management – Build strong relationships across all levels of WBD’s Production Finance departments, communicating deliverables and managing deadline calendars.

  • Analysis & Strategy – Assist with ad hoc analyses, leveraging relationships across the organization to meet the needs of executives and the business. Produce impactful presentations to illustrate analyses for executive-level consumption.

  • Special Projects & Automation – Assist in technology projects, including systems buildouts or improvements. Employ combined subject matter expertise and technological knowhow to identify opportunities for automation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in finance/accounting (production or corporate), financial reporting, or similar

  • BA / BS in finance, accounting, or similar

  • Hyperion, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, or similar experience desired

  • Advanced Excel ability required

  • Excellent communication/writing skills

  • Ability to manipulate large datasets

  • Experience using Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar tools

  • Familiarity with production and production accounting concepts a plus

  • Self-starter with a passion for problem solving

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $72,247.00 - $134,172.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
