Job Description:

Assists the Registered Professional Nurse in the care of the telemetry patient. Utilizes cardiac monitoring equipment and interprets cardiac rhythms. Maintains an organized and clean work environment. Responds in emergency situations.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

HS diploma or GED required. AAS in a healthcare related field preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 6 months of hire. 1 year of experience in a hospital setting with bedside clinical experience required. 1 year of experience as a monitor tech or related experience preferred. 1 year of experience as an EMT preferred. Basic Arithmetic and Basic Reading Comprehension skills tests required. ACLS Monitor Tech Certification required within 12 months of hire into a Monitor Tech position.
