Robert Half Payroll Specialist in Buellton, California

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Payroll Specialist to join our team located in Buellton, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and organizing payroll data, ensuring its accuracy and timeliness. You will also be required to interact with multiple departments to facilitate the payroll process while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize bi-monthly payroll processes.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and update payroll records.

• Operate ADP Workforce Now and NetSuite for payroll processing and management.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and regulations pertaining to payroll processes.

• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly and accurately.

• Liaise with various departments to gather and verify payroll information.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.

• Monitor changes in tax and deduction laws and regulations to ensure the organization's compliance.

• Generate reports detailing payroll account changes, including wage and tax deductions.

• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role as a Payroll Specialist

• Proficient in bi-Monthly Payroll processing

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing

• Experience with NetSuite for financial management and planning

• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive payroll information

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changes in payroll regulations and procedures

• Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address payroll-related issues

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
