Job Description:
To understand the SIL requirement of the project and support the team to achieve the SIL Certificate. Role is to Participate in weekly project review meetings to stay informed about project progress and identify potential safety related task. Attend SIL Kick-off Meetings (SKOMs) to understand project safety requirements and goals. Review P&IDs and Design Drawings for assigned projects to identify safety-critical components and systems. Develop SIL Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs). Gather SIL Certificates and reports for SIS components, ensuring compliance with established procedures. Perform SIL Reliability calculations using ExSilentia tool to assess the overall reliability of safety functions for assigned projects. This may involve using supplier-provided SIS data or generic data from SERH.
Schedule design reviews as needed with SCLs and CTLs review and preparation to address any identified reliability issues. Participate in reviews of SIL RBDs and SIL Reliability Calculations with SCLs and CTLs, ensuring completeness. Conduct reviews of SIL RBDs and calculations with third-party if applicable. Create and issue Component Maintenance Requirement Summaries (CMRS) following successful SIL RBD and calculation reviews with CTLs.
Develop, revise, and issue SIL Proof Test Summaries for applicable SIS components on assigned projects. Create, revise, and issue SIL Safety Manuals for assigned projects, ensuring completion at least one month before project handover.
