Are you ready to spearhead transformative initiatives that bridge various product domains? Join our cross-product team as an experienced Archiving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP archiving activities, including data retention, information lifecycle management, and compliance. They will play a crucial role in implementing and managing archiving solutions to optimize data storage, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve system performance.

As an Archiving Specialist, you oversee SAP archiving solutions in Finance, collaborating with our product teams and stakeholders to define strategies, configuring tools, developing policies, conducting archiving processes, optimizing strategies, providing technical expertise, ensuring compliance, staying updated on trends, and aligning activities with organizational objectives. While specific qualifications and skills are mandatory, we're seeking candidates who are flexible, open to learning, and excited about diving into new challenges and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as single point of contact (SPOC) for archiving initiatives, oversee archiving concept and ensure seamless collaboration and communication across several product teams in Finance.

  • Manage SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to understand archiving requirements and develop strategies.

  • Configure and maintain archiving tools like SAP ILM software and Data Retention Tool (DaRT) and design operations.

  • Conduct end-to-end archiving processes, including Print List Archiving and Document Archiving.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align activities with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3 years of consulting experience in SAP Archiving activities.

  • Experience in at least two of the following areas: SAP ECC/ S4 HANA Data Archiving & Information Lifecycle Management tools, Data Retention Tool (DaRT), Document Archiving, Document and Reporting Compliance, Print List Archiving, S/4Hana Migration Tool, SAP Legacy decommissioning using Dart, SAP ILM software, SAP ILM Retention Warehouse (system decommissioning and reporting).

  • Experience/knowledge in SAP ILM Retention Warehouse, retention policy management, data destruction and retention warehouse reporting.

  • Experience configuring retention and audit policies based on legal requirements across countries with ILM system.

  • Experience with ILM technical configuration, extraction methods, LEW and CDE, database growth analysis and archiving strategy planning.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

  • Knowledge about ABAP/ABAP OO or CDS views are a plus.
