The pay range is $54,800.00 - $98,600.00

A role at Target Printing Services means that you’ll be part of a team that leads Targets communication strategy and brings holistic promotional and value stories to life for Target Guests. The team has a broad range of responsibilities including planning, prepress, design, print production, finishing, bindery, fulfillment and distribution. Target Printing Services is responsible for print projects in support of various internal partners including Stores Experience Marketing, In-Store Promotional Signing, Promotions Marketing, Target Enterprise Services, Store Operations/Communications, and Talent Acquisition.

As a Project Planner, you play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of all projects produced at Target Printing Services. In this role, you will work closely with Account Managers and Project Managers to plan print projects in the most cost-effective manner using Monarch Estimating and Planning software; creating estimates, job tickets, and purchase orders to execute work. You will coordinate the ordering of materials needed for each job, problem solving to find viable alternative solutions when needed. If outside services are required for a job, you are responsible for solidifying the best vendor option, still adhering to all final deadlines and costs. In this role, you will determine kitting requirements, make important decisions that affect efficiencies of end-to-end kitting handwork executed by the production team, and the presentation of the final product for the customer. Project Planners are responsible for writing detailed work instructions to ensure clear understanding and successful execution by TPS production teams.

About you:

• 4-Year degree in related field and/or 5 years of experience working in the printing industry

• Knowledge in print production, planning and sales in a print environment

• Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with others and independently

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment through multiple projects

• Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written

• Ability to make strategic decisions while weighing competing factor with urgency

• Proven track record of building strong, productive, trusting partnerships/relationships

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
