This position is located on-site based out of our corporate headquarters in Brooklyn Park, MN.

This position is eligible for a $2,250 Sign-On Bonus

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for inventory control, job order material usage reconciliation, job closings, and inventory reconciliation. Coordinating with purchasing and production to ensure the inventory is accurate and appropriate to meet demands. Perform duties within the production and inventory control department as required.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review jobs requiring materials and issue materials to assigned jobs physically and in ERP system.

  • Identify and address material discrepancies within job orders and escalate to the appropriate departments.

  • Return excess materials from completed jobs back into stock physically and in ERP system.

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts in assigned area(s) and assist with annual physical inventory as required.

  • Perform scrap transactions per the disposition process for expired or obsolete material.

  • Close all production jobs, verifying material issues and providing necessary documentation for AR invoicing.

  • Identify and address material discrepancies through close out process and escalate to the appropriate departments.

  • Provide customers with Inventory reports and investigate material transaction discrepancies as needed.

  • Support buyers and planners with releasing job orders to the floor.

  • Maintain and monitor manual or computerized inventory control system for raw materials and finished stock.

  • Support or provide back-up to Shipping, MRO purchasing, and Inventory Control functions as required.

  • Reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.

  • Complies with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WOULD BRING:

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

    • 1+ years- experience in medical device industry and manufacturing required.

    • 2 years- experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment, which included operation of an automated inventory control system.

    • Must be able to frequently lift up to 15 pounds and/or move and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    • Proficiency with inventory management and control disciplines outlined by Six Sigma/5S standards.

    • Proficiency in using and maintaining computerized inventory record keeping systems.

    • Familiarity working in regulated manufacturing environments under ISO standards.

    • Proficiency in the management of hazardous material and adherence to state and local regulations.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

HOURS:

2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, Monday - Friday
