Job Purpose

We are conducting a search for a motivated, confident, and team-oriented fixed income professional to join the Electronic Credit Execution Team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your e-trading knowledge while contributing your input to our evolving businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Support efficient and high-volume trade execution desk with attention to detail and quality control while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements including TRACE & MSRB reporting standards.
  • Manage internal processes and tasks for the desk across our RMA, DNA and PA trading businesses.
  • Work productively and effectively with strict adherence to policies and procedures
  • Make consistent, informed and composed decisions using a blend of knowledge, experience and analysis
  • Identify opportunities to optimize client engagement and market share.
  • Reconcile outstanding post trade issues and work with the larger team to rectify.
  • Develop, build and manage client relationships
  • Train clients on system functionality and drive adoption of the platform with new and existing clients
  • Acquire customer documentation, review it and be able to relate the customer to the firm's risk parameters. Using the SEC's website, EDGAR or a similar source.
  • Ability to understand the customer base, their business model, and impacts that business has to trading limits and risk tolerance.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Electronic fixed income domain knowledge
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with focus on listening and analytical skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident, self-starter who embraces change and enjoys working in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork are essential
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients and internal partners
  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient with all Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge and an understanding of Bloomberg Terminal
  • Series 7, 63 preferred or required to be obtained within 6 months of employment.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of 1 day per week.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 78,100 - 125,100 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
