Behavior Support Clinician

Location: Bristol, CT

Salary: $45,240 per year

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-time (40 hours per week)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Support Clinician to join our team in Bristol, CT.

Position Overview: The Behavior Support Clinician will work closely with our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to implement and maintain effective behavior intervention plans. This role requires flexibility, compassion, and a genuine interest in helping individuals with behavioral challenges. The successful candidate will bring positivity and dedication to this impactful position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior intervention plans.

  • Collaborate with BCBAs and LCSWs to ensure the effectiveness of behavioral strategies.

  • Provide direct support and guidance to individuals with behavioral challenges.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of behavioral progress and interventions.

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members to support client progress and well-being.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.

  • Minimum of one year of experience working in the field of behavior support or a related area.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Strong commitment to pursuing a Master's degree in the field.

  • Flexibility, compassion, and a positive attitude.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
