    Compliance Coordinator

    We are seeking a talented individual to join the Aon Compliance team. As our Compliance Coordinator, you will be a member of the Australian Compliance team and report to the Compliance Manager.

    The primary responsibility of the Compliance Coordinator is to provide support to the Compliance Manager and Chief Compliance Officer with management of incidents, complaints, regulatory projects and financial crime due diligence.

    What your day will look like

  • Providing administrative support to the Chief Compliance Officer and Compliance Manager

  • Assisting with the management of incidents, complaints, regulatory projects and financial crime due diligence

  • Assist with responding to compliance related queries including responding to client, insurer and regulatory compliance questionnaires.

  • Preparing reports for internal Compliance and Aon governance committees – including arranging meetings, creating meeting packs and minute taking.

  • Assisting with delivering Compliance training.

  • Building collaborative and productive working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders within and outside Aon to uplift the compliance function.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    In this role you will have the opportunity to learn from the team and build your knowledge and experience in the Compliance space as well as utilise your time management and stakeholder management skills.

  • An understanding of compliance OR experience within a similar role.

  • Experience working within a highly regulated organisation/industry OR in Insurance Broking and Financial Services.

  • Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple engagements, processes and competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Proactive nature with the ability to show initiative and a sense of urgency.

  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

  • High attention to detail and ability to follow direction accurately.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management.
