NELSEN SHEET METAL Sheet Metal Worker in BRIGHAM CITY, Utah
Immediate opening for a Sheet Metal Worker with a fabrication shop in Brigham City.
Will be responsible to:
- Layout fittings
- Set up and operate fabricating machines
- Inspect products
- Lift average of 20 pounds regular basis. May lift up to 50 lbs to move materials with the help of another worker or forklift.
Will do work both in the shop and the field. Employer has mostly commercial projects. Work schedule is generally 9 hours per day, Monday to Thursday, 8 hours on Friday with every other Friday off.
Wage will be negotiated based on skills, starting around $18.00 per hour up to $25.00 per hour for those with sheet metal skills and experience. Apprentices start at $18.00 per hour. Opportunity for significant increase based on evaluation of skills.
Applicants must be a minimum age of 18 to operate power equipment and have a valid driver's license in order to operate company vehicles. Employer conducts background checks due to certain business contracts.
