Atlantic Health System Manager, Network Development in Bridgewater Township, New Jersey

The Manager, Network Development, collaborates with the Director, Network Development to build Atlantic Health System’s provider network in new and existing markets as defined by the strategic growth plan. The Manager works closely with Network Development colleagues to strengthen AHS’ integrated delivery network in strategic markets poised to acquire and retain patients. Under the guidance of the Director, the Manager will focus on relationship development and recruitment of primary care providers, specialists, and ancillary providers, as necessary along with revenue enhancement, physician alignment, integration and market share growth.

Principal Accountabilities:

In conjunction with the Director, target potential opportunities for network growth and implement SMART goals for success.

  • Build strong relationships with current and prospective referral sources to improve system integration.

  • Identify prospects for alignment and recruit clinicians to Atlantic Health System’s Clinically Integrated Network.

  • Drive and sustain incremental volume growth as determined by system and service line strategies and business plans.

  • Report business opportunities, competition and market change intel as identified in the field.

  • Under the direction of the Director, conduct due diligence in collaboration with the physician enterprise.

  • Educate clinicians and support staff regarding services, physicians, medical neighborhoods, and capabilities within Atlantic Health System.

  • Monitor and report volume growth supporting goals and as assigned, project driven initiatives.

  • Establish a weekly pre-call plan utilizing a data-driven process.

  • Engage in a targeted number of meaningful interactions (in person, virtual, networking) with referral sources.

  • Document encounters including requests, concerns, progress and follow up plans in the PRM.

  • Lead and oversee a team, if applicable, responsible for clinical integration, recruitment and increasing covered lives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Director, Network Development.

  • Position requires the ability to travel between sites.

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration or related discipline.

Preferred Experience:

  • 4 or more years of sales, healthcare, planning or business development experience. Industry knowledge preferred.

  • Proven ability to drive and sustain incremental volume growth.

  • History of building relationships with internal and external key stakeholders (i.e. providers, leadership, and representatives of external organizations/businesses).

  • Excellent communication, time management and problem resolution skills with a business acumen.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Position requires the ability to travel between sites.
