Our Team

Within the Finance Department, we are looking for a dedicated and team-oriented new colleague to join the new Tax Team we are building for Sanofi Consumer Healthcare. In that respect, we are very much attached to find a candidate with a strong sense of commitment, towards the tasks, the business and the team.

Although mostly located in France, our Tax team is spread over many geographies, and we offer you to be part of an international setting with many contacts across different functions and countries. As part of the North American Tax Team (that is operationally responsible for tax matters in the United-States and Canada), you will report to the CHC Head of Tax, North America.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist the CHC Head of Tax, North America in:

• Overseeing tax matters in the United-States and Canada, with a strong focus on US tax compliance and optimization, which shall include:

• Tax planning and strategy

• M&A, business development and legal restructuring

• Transactional work

• Modeling

• Tax technical research & memos

• Monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations in the United-States and Canada;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, IT, Procurement, and operations to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business decisions

• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, tax authorities and auditors

• Ensure compliance with local Transfer Pricing requirements, in coordination with our Transfer Pricing Team

About You

• Strong expertise in U.S. direct and indirect taxes

• Deep knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing regulation

• Minimum 8-year experience in US tax compliance & planning

• Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to prioritize tasks effectively
