JOB SUMMARY
Student will shadow technician and collect detailed information, including pictures, video, measurements etc. for the respective task, for the purpose of updating the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – Maximo – job plans, as well as safety, environmental and 5S procedures.

This state-of-the-art shingle plant re-opened in 2021.

71 Orenda Road, Brampton, Ontario, Canada
OUR CANDIDATE:
Mechanical Engineering / Millwright students
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components such as pumps, motors, gear boxes, bearings, belts, conveyors, elevators etc.
Ability to read blueprints, as well as creating engineering hand sketched and basic drawings
Basic understanding of measuring tools (pi-tape, vernier caliper etc.), infrared temperature gun, strobe light etc.
Familiar with MS Office applications (Word, Excel etc.). Knowledge of a CMMS a bonus, Maximo would be great.
Ability to work during planned shutdown days, after hours and weekends.
Hours/ Days / Schedule
Hours of work will be primarily Monday through Friday {40 hours, day shift}.
