Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities of the Env. Engineer may include but are not limited to:
' Assist the Environmental Department in the development and implementation of strategic programs, plans, policies, and procedures. Interpret, communicate, and implement programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable Environmental regulations, company policies, radiation program regulations, and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System). Implement Environmental programs and initiatives including, but not limited to: Hazard identification/risk assessment, Emergency Response, Coordinating Waste Disposal Activities (Haz Waste, Universal Waste, Used Oil), etc. Maintain compliance with all environmental reports and training requirements. Actively engage with the production team to assist with understanding and continuous improvement of environmental compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental/Civil/Chemical Engineering, or a related degree
Equivalent years of applicable experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in environmental compliance in a manufacturing or other industrial environment. Experience in air pollution control, water treatment operations, hazardous waste, and radiation.
