Boston University SENIOR PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Questrom School of Business, MBA Center in BOSTON, Massachusetts

Provide logistical support to all graduate student organization and the MBA Center in the Questrom School of Business. Administer club financials and work with organizations to support their needs. Serve as office manager for the MBA Center and maintain budgets and records. Work with MBA Center team to provide assistance for major events and in the development of new initiatives, and general office support on an as-needed basis.

Job Function 1 (60%) Student Organization Support: Administer financial accounts of graduate student clubs. Process financial transactions, maintain accounts, transfer funds, and liaise with departments and external parties on students behalf. Work closely with Graduate Council VP of Finance on budgeting and tracking student fee allocations. Work closely with graduate club leaders and Associate Director of Community Engagement to execute club related events and purchasing, as well as tracking club spending. Create and execute trainings for student leaders and develop accompanying resources. Serve as Eventbrite administrator in support of student organizations, MBA Center, and MS/PhD Center events

Job Function 2 (40%) Office Manager & Program Support: Provide planning and logistical support for the various events run by the MBA Center. Serve as office manager for the MBA Center. Maintain departmental budgets and administer procurement needs of office. Clarify standards and develop best practices for staff. Serve as offices front desk first point of contact as needed when Front Desk Senior Program Coordinator is out of the office and provide assisting support to MBA Center functions as needed. Liaise with Sourcing & Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Questrom Finance & Administration to approve and execute contracts, pay invoices and student reimbursements. This position is a 35-hour per week.

Required Skills

Two years of college or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred. Excellent analytical, communication and customer service skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to comfortably work on multiple digital platforms are essential. One to three years of experience, preferably in higher education.
