SCRAM Systems Business Development Manager (SPD) in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time business development and relationship (account) management professional to grow a territory or region in sales/client referrals. This position will work with organizations and individuals to offer our products to consumers. The typical types of organizations and entities we work with include: Driving education entities, non-profit organizations, attorneys and in some markets, court and probation officials.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Identify target areas for growth within assigned territory.

  • Target new business opportunities for client referrals

  • Manage and nurture existing referral partners

  • Strategize, cultivate and execute new business opportunities.

  • Carry out partnership and referral channel pitches to large referral sources to land volume accounts.

  • Excel at lead generation and prospecting new markets and adjacent markets, Business to Business marketing (B2B).

  • Technical aptitude: possess the ability to quickly understand and discuss our products and services

  • Execute on goals and sales objectives established.

  • Routinely travels to meet with existing partners and cultivate new business relationships.

  • Demonstrates a customer first approach with the ability to build strong relationships of trust and brand loyalty.

  • Performs demonstrations of our products to target audiences

  • Works closely with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies and collateral development.

  • Participates in industry seminars, conferences, trade exhibits, networking events, and other public speaking opportunities to continually promote and provide education about our products and services.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Business Strategy and planning

  • Sales accomplishments through multiple channels

  • Experience forming and acquiring new partners

  • Willingness to travel 50% - 75%

Education and Experience:

  • Relationship and Account Management experience

  • Non-Profit, traffic safety, young/teen driver process experience

  • Business to Business Marketing experience preferred (B2B)

  • High level of business acumen required
