Marketing Communications Manager, Buildings Segment is responsible for leading all local direct brand awareness, familiarity and demand generation activities and initiatives targeting key target audiences in Buildings industry segment in Germany. The Buildings Segment MarCom Manager cooperates actively with local sales teams and a wider local marketing team to agree on business strategies for supported industry segment, define segment´s marketing strategy, target audiences, develop and execute marketing plans to support the agreed long-term business strategies and achievement of yearly profit plan´s goals.
What you’ll do:
You will work close with the local sales leaders and the marketing team and translate Buildings segment´s business objectives into a marketing communication strategy and an action plan in Germany.
You will localise and tailor centrally created marketing campaigns and content, choose the most relevant media channels, execute and optimise omnichannel campaigns targeting Buildings industry segment audiences, including installers, panel builders, consultants, end users. The marcom mix will cover all different tactics including email newsletter, direct mail, collateral, website content, SEO, PR, social marketing, events, blogs, media buy activities etc.
You will work closely with EMEA buildings segment marketing team to ensure that centrally created campaigns are relevant for Buildings segment customers in Germany
You will be also responsible for marketing elements of Panel Builder and Installer partner programs in Germany
You will manage an annual budget for Buildings segment marketing activities and report campaign results and ROMI
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field. MBA and/or technical background is a plus
B2B marketing experience
Preferably some experience in marketing communications and building and executing digital marketing campaigns
Experience or readiness to work in dynamic environment, international cross-functional teams and matrix organizations
Skills:
Knowledge of B2B business. Knowledge of electrical market is a plus
Understand customer buying journeys, segmentation and targeting
Develop integrated marketing campaigns using data. This to include goal setting, budgeting, activities, content, reporting, segmentation, etc.
Ability to run omni-channel integrated marketing campaigns including all different marketing tactics
Analytical skills to be able to analyse campaigns and optimize them to achieve high ROMI
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German, with the ability to present to senior management
Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects in parallel
A Plus: Graphical skills
Technical skills: Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint. Knowledge of any content management platforms, web content management platforms, visual collaboration tools, marketing automation, social media, sales enablement platforms is a plus
