About the role

As Business development specialist reporting to our Sales Area Manager North West Italy, your key challenge will be to drive and accelerate sales growth and penetration of our Diagnostic product portfolio in Liguria and Emilia Romagna. Targeting our Diagnostic product range particularly public and private clients, you’ll work closely with local leadership and the marketing team to identify new leads and opportunities to close.

Job Description

Main responsibilities will include:

  • The development and maintenance of technical-commercial relationships with various stakeholders in the healthcare sector (direct and indirect) within the assigned area. Identifying their needs, developing, managing, and implementing dedicated projects aimed at both meeting identified needs and offering customers the best experience (Customer experience), as well as contributing to patient care and safety.

  • Achieving business objectives through the promotion, sale, and implementation of IDS solutions and services according to the strategic-operational indications provided by Management and synthesized in assigned objectives (personal and team).

  • Researching, validating, planning, and developing commercial opportunities in line with strategic indications provided by Management.

  • Constant update on the purchasing procedures (e.g. tenders, RDO) in progress and support to both the value proposition of IDS products and services among the main stakeholders and the preparation of the most effective commercial offer according to customer needs and aligned with the commercial policy.

  • Ensures timely problem resolution and first level management of complaints.

About you

  • Ability to grasp buyer/decision-maker types and assess customer needs

  • Significant commercial experience in diagnostic settings, including managing complex tenders.

  • Deep understanding of purchasing mechanisms in public and private hospital settings.

  • Proficiency in Solution Selling techniques.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Excellent command of Windows XP and major Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Flexible team player with the ability to work collaboratively within a matrix organization, drive for results, meet targets, work autonomously, generate leads, prioritize tasks, and handle confidential information maturely and professionally.

  • English Proficient
