As a Sr. Competitor Analysis Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be an integral part of Micron’s ground breaking Technology & Products Group! We are responsible for researching, organizing, and conducting reverse engineering projects in support of our development of next-generation memory technologies. We are passionate about extracting critical competitive benchmarking data from the semiconductor industry’s most sophisticated and innovative memory technologies. We collaborate with a diverse group of teams including Technology Development, Design, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Marketing, and Legal!
Typical Activities and Responsibilities include:
Teardown and analysis of semiconductor memories and end-user electronics
Semiconductor process technology evaluation and analysis
DRAM/NAND architecture and design analysis
Circuit reverse engineering and circuit analysis
Analysis of electrical characterization and behavioral data
Analysis of data and market intelligence for competitive benchmarking purposes
Active participation in competitive benchmarking working groups
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in semiconductor industry preferred
DRAM/NAND process integration, design, or product engineering experience
Fundamental understanding of semiconductor process integration and manufacturing
Knowledge of mainstream storage and memory technologies such as NAND & DRAM
Experience with SEM/TEM/FIB
Solid base in VLSI and CMOS logic
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
High level of attention to detail
Effective problem solving & analytical skills
Strong communication & organizational skills
Ability to thrive in an individual & team based work environment
