Micron Technology, Inc. R&D Dry Etch Process Development Engineer in Boise, Idaho

Work with other Research and Development team members to design and optimize plasma (Dry Etch) processes for the development of Micron’s leadingedge memory technologies. Maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) and inline metric indices, troubleshoot process parameter issues, develop process tuning knobs, run-to-run control setups, and reduce defects prior to technology transfer. Provide proactive redundancy plans for bottleneck workstations that could impact production cycle time or development timelines. Partner with stakeholders to resolve tool and process issues and maximize tool output and product yield. Proactively communicate issues that could cause yield loss, excursions, defects, or tool restrictions. Monitor the health of dry etch processes, ensuring high-quality output, and quickly respond to quality concerns. Respond to chronic SPC performance issues by driving to fix the root cause and provide quality deviation documentation and proactive follow-up with stakeholders

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Chemistry, Plasma Physics or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Dry Etch Process-related occupation.
