Micron Technology, Inc. has an opening for Photo Process Engineer in Boise, ID. Job Duties: Monitor the health of assigned processes, ensuring high-quality output, and provide proactive redundancy plans for bottlenecks that could impact Fab cycle time (CT) or turns.Prepare methods of development and best-known procedures, document and transfer developed processes, and communicate results with senior management team and manufacturing partners. Collaborate with our R&D team to co-develop our next-generation DRAM photolithography fabrication processes. Utilize specialized knowledge with Microns design methodologies and practices and DRAM products to build the initial processes for preliminary testing. Provide continuous improvement and fine-tuning of Photolithography processes conditions to ensure best overlay and patterning dimensions. Document and communicate plans, status, and results of R&D projects in written reports and presentations, including the analysis and interpretation of data. Collaborate with other Micron engineers and equipment vendors to improve and test new equipment, new chemicals, new process analysis software, and drive process improvements. Work in a highly collaborative environment with R&D and HVM (high volume manufacturing) partners in globally diverse geographic locations. Review various technical journals and industry literature to identify potential intellectual property (IP) opportunities and file disclosures to advance the protection of IP in the execution of your work. Attend and participate in SPC, Rework, Module, Transfer and other meetings as needed. Collaborate with HVMs in data collection, gap analysis, and improvement implementation as part of Benchmarking and transfer activities. Identify issues that could cause yield loss, excursions, defects, tool restrictions, or output loss to key stakeholders. Analyze data to make critical decisions to solve process problems, window limitations and drive cost reduction activities. Respond to chronic SPC performance issues by driving to fix root cause. Ensure continued redundancy efforts to keep line running in down tool situations. Own and develop critical and non-critical Photo modules from lead silicon through development and then transferring to High Volume Manufacturing.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Photo Process Engineer-related occupation.
