Salary: Depends on experience (DOE); $34.37 an hour to DOE

Location: Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise is a growing city of approximately 241,590 and serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations. Boise offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities. Idaho’s world-famous fly-fishing, skiing, kayaking and hiking are all within easy access. Housing costs are moderate.

Primary Duties: Will work with attorneys in the Civil Litigation Division who handle cases from across State government involving constitutional and statutory interpretation, tort claims, employment matters and breach of contract claims.

Primary duties include managing large document productions, assisting with database document reviews, processing discovery and responding to document requests, drafting memoranda and analyses, cite checking and Bluebooking briefs, and providing document management support for depositions, hearings and trials.

Minimum Qualifications: Enthusiasm for public service a must. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have excellent grammar and proofreading skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Must have willingness and ability to learn new programs and processes and cross-train in other support staff positions. Minimum of three (3) years related experience, or equivalent combination of experience and training, is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years’ experience as a paralegal; familiarity with PACER and the iCourt filing system; familiarity with legal case management systems; experience with iPro discovery management software or other discovery management software; utilization of Microsoft Teams to share and modify documents.
