Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for an accomplished leader for the role of PSI LATAM Hispanic Partner Account Manager for Global System Integrators (GSI). This role will cover all Latin America and Caribbean countries except Brazil.
As the PSI LATAM Hispanic PAM GSIs you will set an innovative sales strategy, deliver results through the development of joint industry IP, identify and close large-scale IT Outsourcing renewals, and develop a high performing team of industry leaders in their own right. You will own operational execution of attainment against global targets, and create/manage/maintain executive relationships across the business.
By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these strategic partners, you will be responsible for driving pipeline, new revenue growth, increased market adoption and the expansion of the partner’s largest global AWS opportunities. You will be expected to not only create and conceptualize tech programs, but also manage the roll-out through your partners. To be successful, you will possess or demonstrate the ability to build the right level of executive relationships across not just partners, but players within the enterprise.
The PSI LATAM Hispanic PAM GSIs will possess both a business/sales background with a leading consulting or systems integrator that enables them to develop forward thinking initiatives, which drive incremental adoption of AWS services. They will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build strong industry relationships. This leader will be an influencer by nature, someone the partners are eager to engage with, and have a hands-on approach.
Key job responsibilities
Build and rapidly expand the AWS global relationship engaging with, and selling through top Global Systems Integrator (GSI) and Advisory firms in the world focused on Latin America and Caribbean Hispanic market
Drive revenue growth and cloud adoption that exceeds that of the total company targets
Closely collaborate with executive stakeholders across the organization, including Field Sales, Business Development, Product, Finance, and Legal
A day in the life
An evangelist of the cloud era with deep experience in an industry or technology domain
An Influencer who has strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
Experience building business cases for multi-million dollar investments at that CEO level
Familiarity with selling/managing large partner programs, ideally to the Public Cloud
Familiarity negotiating deals across varying cultural normal in a truly global business
Understanding of digital transformation drivers and the technology ecosystem that supports them
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Masters’ Degree in technical or relevant business field
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
Experience developing detailed go to market plans
