We are looking for a dedicated Procurement Buyer to join our team at any of our U.S. offices (PA, NJ, MD, MA, NC, KS, CA). Applicants must be local to the office.

In this role, you will prepare and place purchase orders with vendors in accordance with lead times and operational requirements. You will also obtain order confirmations to ensure services or materials are being scheduled per order requests and receive and process requisitions from various project teams.

Additional Responsibilities Expedite orders to track the timely receipt of goods or services. Resolve invoice discrepancies and provide appropriate accounting instructions for cost variance allocations. Prepare return orders for non-compliant products and ensure credits or invoice adjustments are submitted to Accounts Payable. Maintain accurate purchase transaction history through organized purchasing and vendor records on an ongoing basis. Monitor price increases and communicate changes with procurement staff. Research new qualified subcontractors and vendors as needed. Obtain quotes and proposals as required. Evaluation of existing vendors as needed. Evaluate proposals for completeness and quality. Prepare recommendations for award. Support Procurement staff with operational/administrative tasks as needed. This is an entry-level position. Bachelor's degree. Basic working knowledge and experience with trade contracts and equipment procurement. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications. Preferred Qualifications Experience buying capital equipment in a high-regulated industry (e.g. healthcare, energy, pharmaceuticals). Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Construction Management. Experience using Procore for bidding activities. This position requires approximately 10% travel to regional offices and client sites. Travel is by commercial airline or personal automobile. Candidates must be able to move about active construction sites (a workplace where construction work is being performed). This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is designated for field visitations and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas. Heavy lifting and physical labor are not requirements of this position. About Us
