The Project Manager II role within Donaldson's Aerospace and Defense team is a compelling opportunity for those with an interest in product development. This position will be responsible for planning, organizing and leading project teams to achieve on-time delivery, meet project financial targets and ensure developed products meet customer's quality expectations. This is a great opportunity for a project manager looking to gain experience and demonstrate their capability to manage several concurrent projects including team members from multiple disciplines and departments within Donaldson. Ideal candidates must be able to work out of our Bloomington, MN office. Role Responsibilities: Plan, schedule and coordinate product development projects to ensure smooth transition from concept to production using effective project management technique and stage-gate processes. Organize, align and lead internal project activities including timely reporting of project performance to stakeholders. Ensure project requirements and deliverables are adequately defined,key project milestones are met, identified project risks are mitigated and concerns are elevated to reduce project impact. Serve as a cross-functional coordinator with a diverse team of sales, designers, engineering, purchasing and manufacturing by holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing obstacles, resolving issues and leveraging organizational resources. Support continuous improvement activity such as lessons learned meetings to further improve the product development process and its effectiveness. Lead or support non-development projects as required. TRAVEL: Up to 5% Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 3+ years of experience in Project or Program Management Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing gated product development projects and specifically Donaldson Accelerated Product Development process Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong attention to detail and analytical aptitude Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels with both internal and external customers PMP or similar project management certification Key words: Project Management, Program Management, New Product Introduction (NPI), PMP #LI-Hybrid Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
