As a Calibration Engineer, you will not only play a significant role in calibrating test systems, but also provide value by improving methods and procedures, ultimately improving data integrity. You will be responsible for calibration of a wide range of test systems used to lead the world in air and liquid filtration design and manufacturing. This role supports our efforts to maintain compliance with Industry standards. The Calibration Engineer will be responsible for the calibration of items such as temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, torque, and other measurement devices. You must also work to meet schedule requirements and maintain open communications with internal customers and vendors. Role Responsibilities: Calibrate lab test equipment Document all lab calibrations Provide program support for laboratory-related audits Work in compliance with ISO, TS, AS, and ANSI requirements Meet timing requirements for on and off-site calibration needs Communicate with the test systems team to report/resolve equipment issues Provide input for laboratory processes, and check standards Communicate technical results through document specifications, standards, and reports Maintain intrinsic, primary, secondary and/or working calibration standards Update calibration procedures and methods, according to detailed specifications, drawings, and other technical requirements Other duties and responsibilities may be required Minimum Qualifications: Technical or Associates Degree in related fields such as electronics or equivalent work experience 1+ years of calibration experience Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of calibration experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, related field or formal (PMEL) precision measurement equipment laboratories training ASQ Certified Calibration Technician Knowledge of quality initiatives such as ISO9001, TS16949 and ISO17025 specifications Experience with statistics, process control and gage R&R Experience with electronics and sensors Experience in air and fluid systems This position is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and related rules.
