Core Responsibilities

  • Participate in detailed data analysis.

  • Handle large amounts of data in a smart and automated way.

  • Build simulation models to model self-driving vehicles.

  • Impact on new factory designs.

  • Dimension new packing facilities.

  • Test and evaluate new production methods in a virtual setup.

As a part of the Discrete Event Simulation Team you get the chance to apply you theoretical knowledge across the global LEGO® organization.

As an intern you will get the possibility to develop your own skills within programming, model building and do structured manufacturing simulation experiments.

Do you have what it takes?

  • A university student related to: Manufacturing, Data Science or IT/Programming.

  • Interest within Discrete Event Simulation software - Preferred Siemens Plant Simulation.

  • Courses in one or more programming languages such as Java, C, C++, C#, Python, PLC Programming, Robot Programming.

  • A mindset to learn and contribute to the team.

  • Work on your own hand and reach out when in need of support.

  • Interest within data analytics.

  • Interest within machine learning.

  • Ability to use MS Office products on a high level with focus on MS Excel.

  • An understanding production related problems and principals such as LEAN thinking, Value Chain analysis.

  • Good communicative skills – ability to appropriately ask questions and retrieve answers and communicate results in a clear way.

  • English at fluent level is required as this is the standard office language.

Options for the Internship:

  • Paid internship (specific rules apply).

  • Affordable student accommodation is available in Billund.

  • Possible for work from home 2-3 days a week.
