Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering innovative educational content that engages both students and educators with hands-on materials? As the Global Content Director, you will be at the heart of our value proposition within LEGO Education, setting direction for high-quality products and engaging lessons delivered in over 60 countries, collaborating with all critical development functions and markets.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure that guidelines for content production and maintenance are in place and is being followed across LEGO Education, bringing playful learning into the classroom.

  • Develop and maintain global content strategy incl. localization to ensure it is aligned to product strategy, market needs and learning outcomes, standards, pedagogy and assessment frameworks and principles.

  • Being at the forefront of technologies to keep innovating content development processes, adapting and learning with markets needs.

  • Lead and mentor content development team, educational writers and professionals, by setting goals, supporting competencies, ensuring feedback and supporting professional growth and development.

  • Set guidelines and role-model standard processes for content and pedagogy embedded in product streams, CMS platform and content production.

You are a critical part of the Educational Impact team, which ensures that the LEGO Education products are designed as high-quality playful learning experiences, to equip educators and parents to support children development and learning in the key markets of LEGO Education. The Educational Impact team has the following three areas:

  • Develop engaging, curriculum-aligned and high-quality learning materials that integrate hands-on activities with learning content.

  • Improve and evaluate the effectiveness of education solution in enhancing learning outcomes, engagement, and multidisciplinary skills.

  • Innovate and develop educational products and activities that drives learning outcomes through playful learning.

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with content development platforms and processes with a significant portion in a leadership role managing diverse content teams combined with shown experience in developing educational content that aligns with learning outcomes and educational standards in markets like US and UK. In addition, you have experience in:

  • Managing content that caters to various international markets, understanding localization, content management platforms and compliance with international educational standards

  • Developing and innovating content and formats that engages educators and equip students with knowledge and skills.

  • Digital education content strategies, including production, maintenance, and innovation within digital platforms.

  • Content management systems which orchestrates multiple users and markets in one place.

  • Leading and inspiring a team of content development, production, writers, and educational experts in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
