onsemi Manufacturing Director in Bien Hoa, United States
Primary Responsibility: Drives the long-range strategic planning process for operations by overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations, including manufacturing itself, production control, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, inventory control. Defines goals, improves technologies, and resolves problems in conjunction with managers of manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, and sales. Translates customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing and profitable manufacturing of company products. Develops operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures. Maintains safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility
Other responsibilities:
Provide role model leadership to the team, ensuring cultural alignment to the business and establishing clearly defined expectations and performance criteria
Deliver world-class operational performance through the effective application of methodologies, systems, processes, resources and people
Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Oversee a range of expansion project activities including continuous improvement and capital expenditure to ensure effective delivery and minimize operational disruption
Continuously review and evaluate the operational resources of the business to deal with current and medium-term business needs, identifying skills gaps, recruitment needs and succession planning
Promotes and enforces safety in the workplace
Qualifications Requirements:
Degree in business or manufacturing subject is desirable
Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
Have experience in semiconductor or relevant industry with strict adherence to safety, quality, cost and delivery objectives
Experience on PCB (printed circuit board) manufacturing is desirable. Either fabrication and/or use.
Chemical engineering background would be ideal.
Experience with chemical manufacturing processes (ie. photoresist application/development, chemical etching, plating, etc.).
A proven Technical Leader, who has operated as part of a strategic team responsible for the development and delivery of expansion plan
Ability to demonstrate exceptional organization and planning Skills
Outstanding commercial acumen, able to apply strong business rationale when problem solving and establishing priorities
