Job Description Summary

The GEANZ Central Warehouse Facility Manager will represent GEANZ as PCBU at GEANZ Central Warehouse facility and provide facility management supporting both the services and projects department teams that jointly operate from the premises. Provide expertise in the field of safety and quality to support the implementation of a robust quality management system in alignment with ISO9001.

This will be a fixed term position with an end date.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage the GEANZ Central Warehouse facility as the GEANZ PCBU

  • Coordinate all maintenance, repairs and improvements to the facility as the capability grows. Interface with all relevant suppliers, landlord and the commercial property agent CBRE.

  • Ensure safety compliance of all visitors, contractors and staff to the facility safety management system and improving operational effectiveness and safety by adapting implementing industry best practices.

  • Develop and foster a cohesive, respectful and safe workplace team culture

  • Ensure Monthly Toolbox meetings are conducted, documented, shared, rotated and attended.

  • Conduct the facility establishment and facility operations meetings

  • Develop monthly, quarterly and annual reports

  • Conduct facility safety and compliance inspections

  • Implement training initiatives and knowledge sharing opportunities from industry SME’s

  • Provide Quality assurance support for both Projects and Services divisions to allow ISO9001 accreditation.

  • Leading warehouse team to achieve parts and tools on time departure.

  • Managing the warehouse assets and maintain the higher accuracy on tools and parts inventory.

  • Drive warehouse operating and costs efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous Management experience in similar role

  • Business or Engineering degree

  • Familiar with crane and lifting operations

  • General Construction induction – white card

  • Strong knowledge and commitment to safety and quality

  • Experience in workplace disputes and conflict resolution

  • Ability to develop and implement a Quality management system in manufacturing, production workshop environment. Develop written procedures, checklists, registers.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, ability to conduct inspections and audits, complete inspection reports and collate traceability documentation and file according to ISO9001.

  • Competent in Microsoft office suite software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Relevant EHS training certifications

  • Degree in Business or Engineering

  • QA/QC accreditation

  • Unrestricted driver’s License is essential
