What you'll do...

As an Engineering Leader in the Information Security (InfoSec) Global Tech Assurance team, you will play a key role in overseeing the design, implementation, and support of solutions/tooling that aide in our objective of creating automated processes and preventative/detective controls to ensure policy compliance as well as systematic testing for continuous compliance. You will be responsible for building a talented team of engineers, setting technical and architectural standards, collaborating with other functions to define scope and objectives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, compliant, and efficient solutions. As an Engineering Leader, you must stay updated with the latest technology trends, implement engineering leading practices in accordance with policy, and contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the function.

The Global Tech Assurance team collaborates with business partners, Governance, and Global Tech teams to ensure applications are properly deployed, monitored, and controlled to meet appropriate levels of compliance for industry, legal, governmental, risk, and safety standards. We also work to create automated preventative and detective controls and processes as well as implementing systematic testing for continuous compliance to provide confidence key technical controls are functioning as intended.

What you'll do...

As a Director of Information Security - Global Tech Assurance Engineering, you'll have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the Global Tech Assurance Engineering function that align with the overall objectives of InfoSec and Global Governance stakeholders.

  • Oversee development projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time within agreed upon commitments.

  • Ensure product quality by developing and executing quality assurance plan; using data and experience to determine customer needs; directing continuous improvement and eliminating non-value-added work; measuring milestones for quality; and developing mitigation plans to ensure quality.

  • Drive implementation of telemetry features based on the domain requirements to improve the overall operational excellence of the solution.

  • Work with stakeholders to define the future roadmap of the solutions, adopt latest technology innovation wherever necessary.

  • Technical leadership in building a complex platforms or products that are highly reliable, and scalable.

  • Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.

What you'll bring...

  • Deep working knowledge of all aspects of Cloud native distributed system development. Azure/ GCP/ WCNP preferred.

  • Knowledge of Software architecture, Distributed systems, Scalability, Design patterns, Disaster Recovery.

  • Technical Proficiency in one or more of the languages such as Java, Python, React Native, Node JS, React JS, GraphQL

  • Experience working with and developing monitoring/tooling/logging solutions like Splunk, Grafana, Kibana, Graphite, Nagios, New Relic, DynaTrace, and Prometheus

  • Experience working with micro-services architecture and distributed systems.

  • Experience managing software development engineers, leaders, architects and leading engineering projects, guiding engineering teams on engineering excellence & solid system design.

  • Experience partnering with cross-functional project development and in collaborating with other scrum teams, QA, Release Management, Program Management, and TechOps.

  • Methodical and systematic problem-solving approach, combined with a solid awareness of ownership, initiative, and drive

  • CI/CD Automation experience with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins & Azure DevOps

  • Experience in data science/machine learning would be advantageous

  • Work exposure on Agile and DevOps methodologies

  • Experience in data infosec tools and techniques would be significantlyadvantageous

  • Familiarity with retail, health & wellness, and financial systems would be a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

3 years' supervisory experience.
