Senior Manager, Omni-Enablement , Technology Operations

Customers shop whenever and wherever they want, choosing from a wide range of Pickup and Delivery options. To make these options happen, we have many teams across the business focused on ensuring customers have access to the right merchandise at the right time, while delivering an experience that makes them want to continue shopping with Walmart.

In this role, you will be an essential part of the business team, leading and defining the assortment proposition we offer the customer for shipping, pickup and delivery. Your role will contribute to driving customer acquisition, retention, revenue growth and profit for Walmart eCommerce. You will collaborate and develop deep partnerships with multiple stakeholders across the business such as Walmart Merchants, Marketplace, Store Operations, Last Mile Delivery, Product, FC Operations, Finance, and others to identify and work through opportunities, solving problems and proving more assortment to our online customers, delivered as quickly as they need.

About You

  • You understand store fulfillment operations and technology, whether in Retail ecommerce environment or similar industries

  • You learn and adapt quickly, and are excellent at working on multiple cross-functional projects concurrently

  • You are great at building relationships with people in different areas of business, understanding their needs, their opportunities, and being able to influence and collaborate to achieve goals together.

What You'll do

  • Defining long-term vision and strategy for Omni-Assortment. Providing thought leadership on internal and external best practices and standards to drive decision making. Conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments. Working cross-functionally with partner teams across multiple locations so communication, collaboration, and organization are key to your success

  • Leading and delivering on key cross-functional projects that span across multiple teams within the organization. Collaborating daily with cross-functional team members including Product, Store Operations and more. Defining metrics and KPIs that will help us measure and track business goals

  • Communicating roadmaps and priorities and collaborating across business areas for roadmap prioritization including, engaging with key partners to determine the best business strategies, and gaining buy-in from executive-level leadership

  • Driving execution of multiple propositions and initiatives by identifying customer and operational needs and developing and communicating plans and priorities. Removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources and identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning

  • Ensuring business & cross-functional partner needs are met by evaluating ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with 4iTB partners, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving overall omni-channel experience

  • Promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by way of training and providing direction to others in their use and application and ensuring compliance and utilizing and supporting the Open-Door Policy

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in business or related field or equivalent experience in Business or related field

Preferred Qualification:

  • 8+ years related experience in Merchandising, Site Merchandising, or related field

  • Masters Degree in Business or related field

  • 4+ years demonstrated experience managing a team

  • 4+ years of experience in consumer-focused e-commerce environment

  • Strong customer obsession focused on building the right site experience for our customer

  • Analytical and process-oriented, comfortable making data-driven decisions

  • Ability to set clear team objectives and performance measures

  • Ability to select and develop a team of future leaders

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary

  • Assertive, adaptable and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
