Walmart Senior Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - Financial Services Compliance in Bentonville, Arkansas

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

This position is located at our Bentonville, AR campus.

Join the Global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Financial Services Compliance (FSC) team to support governance of the Global AML, Anti-Fraud, and Consumer Protection programs for the world's largest retailer. The Senior Manager, Global AML and Financial Services Compliance role is critical to supporting governance of the programs including oversight of policies, procedures and standards, training, new product risk assessment, operational risk management, third party management and assessment, regulatory change management support, and other key initiatives. As a vital team member, you will support effective governance of the programs, with a focus on protecting Walmart from being used to facilitate money laundering, financing terrorist activity and consumer fraud, as well as protecting our customers through effective oversight of consumer financial protection requirements.

What you'll do...

  • Use your eye for detail to effectively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders (first, second, third lines of defense along with external partners).

  • Partner with team members, including global subject matter experts to execute strategies for the Company's AML and FSC program.

  • Help evolve the Global AML and FSC programs by using effective risk spotting to identify, escalate and mitigate program risks.

What you'll bring....

  • Five or more years of compliance experience working with AML regulations and risk management practices, consumer fraud and consumer financial protection requirements.

  • Five or more years of compliance experience spanning medium-large sized financial institutions and/or non-bank financial institutions (FI's and NBFI's) with focus on the consumer/retail customer.

  • Experience with FinTech services and products, or with a Money Services Business (MSB)

  • A process mindset to look for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness

  • Experience creating/updating and maintaining policy, procedure, standard, and process documents.

  • Strong technical writing skills.

  • Strong analytical abilities.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders and partners.

  • You're a team player having experience working in cross-functional teams within a matrix environment.

  • You're a Certified Financial Services Compliance Specialist, with one or more of the following certifications: Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM).

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years' supervisory experience. 3 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
