Sevita Rehabilitation Specialist in Benton, Arkansas

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Rehabilitation Specialist

Do you want to work in a dynamic work environment where no day is ever the same as the next? In this role your tasks will be diversified and you will be supporting our mission. Coordinate activities for residents of care and treatment facilities.

  • Performs skill training, cognitive remediation, job coaching, and behavior management objectives in accordance with treatment plan.

  • Reinforces appropriate client behavior and skills in residential, therapy sessions, and community settings, utilizing direct feedback, role-playing, modeling and individualized behavior interventions.

  • Performs skill training, cognitive remediation, job coaching, and behavior management objectives in accordance with treatment plan.

  • Collaborates with varied disciplines for development of schedule/activities.

  • Maintains current client notes/reports in accordance with program standards, corporate, licensing and regulatory policies.

  • Collects and reports data and/or client participation relevant to rehabilitation targets, goals and administrative policy.

  • Assist with transport of clients to planned activities in the community as assigned.

  • Assists in the planning, scheduling, and implementation of social, emotional, recreational, vocational-related and other related therapeutic activities for the clients.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • One-year related experience preferred

  • Valid driver’s license, current registration, and insurance

  • Effective problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and acute attention to detail required

  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
