The Software Engineering Professional supports the execution of the software engineering strategy and roadmap that supports BT's commercial strategy through cross functional project and technical delivery and the participation of a team that pursues innovation as well as engineering excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Experience with developing application with Java, Springboot , Python using software version control tools like Git, subversion and implement CI/CD pipelines

• Worked on UI technologies like ReactJS , Angular, JavaScript

• Having knowledge of telecom domain and worked on GIS application , good to have knowledge on Geoserver, ArcGIS.

• Good familiarity with RDBMS like Oracle, Postgres and cloud solutions like AWS, GCP, Azure.

• Supports the design and development of software solutions in accordance with the wider architecture and security standards.

• Supports with the designs of technical specifications and development of software solutions, contributing towards the quality of delivery

• Perform unit testing and debugging of the code and ensure quality code is delivered

• Able to write automated test using tools and also carry out performance test for the application being developed.

• Understand the System integration points , data flows between different components/Applications

• Provide technical guidance to the team and troubleshoot complex technical issues along with tuning the applications
