Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and configure CyberArk components such as Central Policy Manager (CPM), Password Vault Web Access (PVWA), and Privileged Session Manager (PSM) to meet security and operational requirements.

  • Develop and enforce privileged access policies, workflows, and automation using CyberArk’s Application Identity Manager (AIM) and/or Conjur solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CyberArk with other security technologies and systems, ensuring seamless operation and maximum security posture.

  • Lead a team of PAM engineers and specialists, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.

  • Manage the implementation of session monitoring and recording capabilities for privileged sessions across critical systems.

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of CyberArk configurations, policies, and access controls to maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal security standards.

  • Provide technical escalation support for complex PAM-related issues, collaborating with other teams as needed.

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in privileged access management and cybersecurity, recommending enhancements to existing PAM capabilities.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Provenexperience in people management, including team leadership, coaching, and performance management.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.

  • Strong proficiency in CyberArk components including Enterprise Password Vault (EPV), Privileged Session Manager (PSM), and Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM).

  • Extensive knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, principles, and technologies.

  • Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages to automate PAM workflows and integrations.

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex PAM-related issues.

Experience

  • CyberArk Certified Defender (CCD) or equivalent certification.

  • Experience with other PAM solutions such as BeyondTrust, Thycotic, or HashiCorp Vault.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based PAM solutions and integrations (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault).

  • Previous experience in a lead or managerial role within a cybersecurity team.
