Senior Financials Applications Consultant – Demo Services Content Build. ( CA\CWA\ MBA (FIN) with relevent experience )

Demo Services - is at the forefront of the success of Oracle's Applications business, supporting the global sales effort through the deployment and support of high quality demonstration systems.

Functional Content Build teams within DS play a central role in testing, building, and providing documentation to the Applications Pre-Sales Consultants and we are now seeking to recruit a Senior Financials Applications Consultant to join our ERPM Financials Build team for handling all aspects of the seeded financial transactions.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software helps you is the integrated management of main business processes, often in real time and mediated by software and technology. ERP is usually referred to as a category of business management software—typically a suite of integrated applications—that an organization can use to collect, store, manage, and interpret data from many business activities. ERP Systems for Oracle SaaS are Cloud based. While often tied to Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems, ERP software complements EPM by providing management insights in addition to top of operational data. In other words, ERP is about operating the business—the day-to-day transactional activity—and EPM is about managing the business—analyzing, understanding, and reporting on the business.

Sales Consultants need and Customers expect demos with customer specific, current / recent data and periods. Transactions have to be integrated across Product Families and the numbers must be reasonable to allow a story and a smooth demo.

The candidate has to generate daily transactions and consolidations in our demo master system. These transactions are a basic requirement for customer demos in various views:

  • Features / Functions and Flows (like Inquiries of Accounts, Customer / Supplier Accounts, Aging; Payments / Receipts; Aging; Localizations incl. Tax; etc.)

  • Consolidation incl. multiple currencies

  • Reporting

  • Business Intelligence

  • Integration and Drilldown within and across Product Families

  • Data extracts for 3rd party systems.

The successful applicant will join a dynamic and committed team and will be exposed to a varied and challenging workload including early exposure to new developments in Oracle Financial applications.

DEATILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Learn Product and design it in such a way to help Sales team to sale the product.

. Review and manage daily transactions in the current data base.

· Create, load and maintain budgets in each General Ledger and Business Intelligence reports

· Manage required adjustments, reconcile and publish reports to Dashboards in the Master environment.

· Responsible for testing impact of upgrades and new releases on transaction processing; including entering and follow-up of bugs with development

· Interaction with multiple applications in Oracle Fusion applications; including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, Projects, Global Intercompany System, and more.

SKILLS:

· Proven experience of developing, implementing or supporting Oracle ERP Suite Financial Applications

· Strong work ethic, with an ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to a satisfactory resolution

· Excellent communications skills, including an ability to understand and explain complex problems and solutions.

· Strong skills in the organisation of personal tasks, able to react to changing priorities and challenging timescales

A self-starter, equally effective when working independently or in a team environment

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot application software

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
