The purpose of the Software Engineering Manager role is to provide technology expertise to drive the delivery of outcomes as well as coach and lead of a team of Software Engineers. The role is focused on best practices, technology, and delivering business value through high quality software.

What you’ll be doing

• Member would be performing the role as a specialist architect/lead

• This is a Individual Contributor role reporting to an Engineering Manager/Sr and shall act as a lead for all designer and developers.

• Member should be responsible for review of the code, test cases, and designing the strategic roadmap for BT and the business unit applications

• Member should be responsible for writing and reviewing ACF (Architectural Governance) within the business unit and shall be working along with domain architects in solution discussions.

• Participate in discussions and work along with business stakeholders and other design and architect members for requirement gathering, designing the strategic solution and guiding the application designers in building the best possible solution.

• Must be ready to lead developers, or even act as one if needed and guide the team technically.

• They shall also be leading & managing the vendors from technical side and shall be the main quality gate for all design solutions

• Must be ready to challenge the business and architect level solutions and offer most optimized solutions for winning the business requirements and implement the same.

• Must lead and architect the solution design E2E involving all applications in the stack keeping the strategic roadmap for products and applications.

• Good to have knowledge in Telecom domain

• Must and should exhibit professional behaviors all time and must be proficient in communication skills

Skills and Experience required

• 12 + Years of Overall experience

• Architectural governance and skills, Must have played the role of designer or technical architect.

• Good understanding on requirements and designing solutions for application.

• Good in updating UML diagrams,flow diagrams,Confluence,Making dev team understand on solution, Demo the solution to different stakeholders.

• Good understanding on Integration with different components.

• Very Good Expertise in JAVA and Spring

• Experience in creating, developing, and handling XML, JSON,REST, Microservices, HTML

• Experience in Oracle and no sql database Mongo DB

• Should have good knowledge on Kafka and Streams APIs and Event driven architecture.

• Should have excellent knowledge on APIs.

• Must have good knowledge in Agile methodologies, DevOps mechanisms

• Build CI/CD pipeline and lead team in devOps automation

• Good to have cloud-based development knowledge in AWS and Azure

• Must be able to work in all MS Office apps like excel, word, power point etc. mainly to communicate with stakeholders
