Village of Bellaire Sanitation Truck Driver in Bellaire, Ohio
The Village of Bellaire *is currently seeking to hire a Sanitation Truck Driver.* Eligible applicants must have Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Visit numerous residential and commercial locations to collect waste for removal.
- Transport and dispose of waste in a safe, effective and environmentally friendly manner.
- Operate garbage truck.
- Clear debris from roadways.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working conditions:
- Work safely at all times in compliance with all safety and operating rules.
- Irregular work hours, may include working on Saturdays.
- Employees work in the shop and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Heavy lifting required, must be able to utilize safe lifting techniques.
Education
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Requirements:
- Current, valid Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement license with insurability.
- Pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug/alcohol screen
