The Opportunity

Nutanix, headquartered in San Jose, California, is looking for a creative and hard-working Legal Operations Analyst focused primarily on building and managing our contracting infrastructure. In this role, you will assume a wide range of responsibilities, all of which will require critical thinking, innovation, and grit. We are looking for someone with a solid work ethic, attention to detail, tech savvy, solid understanding of contracts and the contracts lifecycle, experience with contract management tools and processes and a willingness to learn. This role is operational and will not be involved in negotiating contracts.

Your Role

• You will be responsible for our CLM environment (Lexion), and will play a critical role in managing all contracts within the system, including clean up of metadata and tags, identifying and resolving issues, determining and documenting business process around the use of Lexion, and working with various stakeholders inside and outside of Legal to educate and expand adoption.

• You will gather requirements and build workflows around our contracting processes through our various tools.

• You will stay on top of new technologies (such as Generative AI) that we may want to use in our contracting processes and provide input on how we can implement such technologies.

• You will develop and maintain our process around managing and updating agreement templates and a clause library of approved provisions, including being the main project manager of periodic template updates.

• You will assist in the creation, management and continuous improvement of legal enablement resources designed to provide training and standardization on commercial legal processes and tools to the legal department and other cross-functional teams. Resources may include training materials, playbooks, FAQs, etc.

• You may assist with other general Legal Operations initiatives as needed, and must have a desire to learn new skills and areas of expertise

• Review and management of contract data analytics

What You Will Bring

• 4+ years of experience managing contracts and contractual operations in a corporate environment, including the implementation and management of a CLM.

• Critical thinking skills and the ability to understand contracts and legal terminology

• Strong technical skills and the ability to learn and work with a variety of software applications (e.g., Lexion, Microsoft, ServiceNow, DocuSign, Adobe, Slack, Google docs, etc.)

• Experience working with contract data analytics and technical ability to create presentations and/or dashboards around such data

• Detail oriented, meticulous and strong organizational and project management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and fluency in English language

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, maintain patience in high pressure situations and take initiative where appropriate

• Flexibility to periodically work some extended hours to overlap with the team in the U.S.

• J.D. not required.

About the Team

You will report to the Director of Legal Operations, Chief of Staff who has been at Nutanix for 7.5 years. Prior to her current role, she served as Corporate Counsel handling corporate and securities matters. This role will be hybrid with flexibility to design a schedule with some days in the Nutanix Belgrade office.
