Ground Force Production Technician in Belgrade, Montana

Job Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Ability to read tape measures, blueprints and schematics
Able to be on feet continuously for long periods of time
Able to bend, stoop, squat, and twist
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Able to follow standard safety procedures
Consistent availability for scheduled shifts
Accountabilities
Including but not limited to:
Assembly preparation Gathering, inspecting, organizing & delivering all required parts for each assembly to each work group as needed
Drilling and tapping of Machine-In-House (MIH) designated parts
Preparation of Burn & Machine (B&M) designated parts
Set-up & break-down of parts and assemblies for paint
General shop maintenance (keep common areas clean & organized, inspect rigging equipment)
Practice 5S (Sort, Set-in Order, Shine, Standardize & Sustain) in common areas throughout the shops
Continuously improve processes and standards related to the Production Technician
Cross trained w/ Yard Laborer Sandblast tending, saw cutting, yard maintenance, etc.
Cross trained w/ Service/Parts Coordinator to assist in managing warehouse space

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however can be severe and caution shall be executed with the use of PPE as required.
