As a Senior Analyst on the Market Insights team, you will help bring these capabilities to life to maximize impact across the organization.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a skilled Senior Analyst to provide ongoing support for a global quantitative project as well as ad-hoc analyses. You will work under a Market Intelligence Lead, with data scientists and other cross-functional teammates to help transform large primary datasets into comprehensible structures. This is an excellent learning opportunity for someone with technical and analysis expertise and offers the opportunity to be part of a high-priority business work stream aiming to revolutionize Nike’s marketplace understanding.

The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of quantitative research methods including market tracking surveys and sophisticated sampling methods, and proven experience using commercial and market data to advise consumer, brand, and product priorities.

We’re seeking someone who is constantly curious about how data can be used to unlock business opportunities. You are a self-starter with strong consumer and market research experience, cross-functional management abilities, and strategic insight skills. Excellent communication and facilitation skills combined with the ability to be flexible and navigate dynamic environments will be key to success.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK

Your primary responsibility will be providing support on the day-to-day of data analyses, ongoing program refinement, and scaling of Nike’s strategic and global quantitative research project.

A significant portion of your role will be dedicated to data analysis and insights generation: mining data, synthesizing learnings, and delivering key insights to catalyze action across Nike. Demonstrating your strong analytical and communication skills, you'll ensure that data is not just collected, but that it is transformed into actionable insights.

With an emphasis on continual improvement, you will actively seek out ways to enhance processes, efficiently address challenges, and adapt strategies and analyses to align with changing business needs and objectives.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Economics, or Social Sciences, or combination of relevant education, experience.

  • Degree in a field related to consumer behavior, such as psychology, behavioral sciences, or market research, is advantageous. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

  • 5 years of experience in a quantitative market research and/or business analysis role

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and make impactful recommendations required.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with commercial retail data.

  • Demonstrated ability to create, cleanse, transform, and summarize large datasets (SQL is preferred; Python is a plus)

  • Experience with database and visualization tools (preferably Snowflake or DataBricks, and Tableau)

  • High attention to detail; excellent written & verbal communication
