Job Description:

Day to Day:

Highly clerical, supporting other specialists and sorting through mail, issuing checks, and answering inquiries for support (Employees). Addressing payroll inquiries and general help. Entering timecards, corrections, in ADP. Volume = 3,000-5,000 employees and then 2,500 employees being offboarded.

30% Execute day-to-day payroll activities and biweekly processes of multi-company, multi-state payroll for hourly and salary employees. Perform pay data entries, data loads, generating off-cycle checks, and data auditing.

30% Assist employees and other contacts with low to medium complexity inquiries through ITSM tool, working to resolve inquiries and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Escalate more complex matters to Sr. team members.

15% Adhere to established standard operating procedures to perform routine tasks. Identify errors and issues that occur during the process and escalate quickly to ensure timely completion.

10% Rely on established Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledge Articles to interpret and resolve issues; may edit an existing article or content.

10% Ensure the highest level of confidentiality, privacy, and risk mitigation through cognizant communications (written and verbal), validating legitimacy of data requests, securing data sources (paper, electronic, etc.), and reporting any possible breaches immediately.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of payroll experience (payroll admin or processing, more than just timekeeping)

  • Experience with multi-state payroll (OR and CA preferred)

  • Proficiency with Ukg/Kronos/Any timekeeping software

  • Experience with ADP (WFN preferred, Vantage acceptable)

  • Excel proficiency

  • Attention to detail
