Job Summary

As a Data Entry Operator, you will be in charge of preparing, compiling and sorting documents

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Entry Operator. This position will be full-time and remote. This will be 6-12 months with probable extension.

What You’ll Do

  • Check source documents for accuracy

  • Verify data and correct where necessary

  • Update data and delete unnecessary information

  • Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required

  • Enter data from source documents into defined computer database, files and forms

  • Transcribe information into required electronic format

  • Update and submit documents into document management systems or databases

  • Communicate with requestors to verify data or obtain additional information

  • Check completed work for accuracy

  • Work with a team to verify accuracy and make corrections

  • Store completed documents in designated locations

  • Maintain logs or records of activities and tasks via Service Now platform

  • Respond to requests for information and access relevant files

  • Comply with data integrity/security policies and maintain class updates

What You’’ll Need

Required:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience with Data Entry

  • Knowledge in managing both MS Word and Excel.

  • Be able to work with minimal supervision

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
