We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working Accountant in our Central Operations Accounting space. Are you ready for your next challenge? Tek might just be the place for you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting system support (Oracle) to Tektronix’s Business Organizations, including:

• Research and address continuity issues between Oracle systems.

• Analyzing the transfer of inventory and resolving variances.

• Item costing and transfer pricing set-ups.

• Work with financial analysts to answer questions and dig into root causes.

• Participate in teams responsible for the integration of systems and processes of newly acquired entities into Tektronix.

• Perform monthly and quarterly closing responsibilities including system closing, journal entry preparation and account reconciliations. May require working some weekends.

• Assist with other ad-hoc accounting projects/system upgrades as needed.

• Testing of controls (SOX)

• Gathering of information requested by both internal and external auditors, as well as the addressing of issues raised by auditors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, with a minimum of 3 years of validated experience in an accounting or related field.

• Be highly motivated and able to perform job duties independently and efficiently.

• Have strong system skills; experience with Oracle Financial systems preferred.

• Be enthusiastic and results oriented, with the ability to drive continuous improvement in business and financial processes.

• Have excellent communication skills and a strong desire to be a great teammate.
