GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Fitness Center Assistant & Athletic Home Event Management
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are typical responsibilities associated with these positions. The specific responsibilities may vary and will be assigned accordingly by the supervisor.
Ensure safety of all participants during fitness center hours and/or athletic events.
Maintain cleanliness of Fitness Center & Athletic Venue.
Organize and look after fitness center equipment.
Photograph home athletic events
Greet participants & be helpful to the campus community.
Assist with set up and tear down of home athletic event venues.
Assist volleyball officials with line judging.
Retrieve balls & return balls to the playing surface.
Help manage scoreboards, timers and scorekeeping.
Job Requirements:
SKILLS REQUIRED
Requires some lifting of equipment
Customer service oriented
Equipment Used:
Computer, card scanner, washer & dryer, scoreboard, camera
Physical Demands:
Requires some lifting of equipment
Additional Information:
Work Schedule / Availability: Must be available for Home events (afternoons & weekends) Day, evening and week-end fitness center shifts available
