Civil Project Engineer

Description:

Actalent is seeking a Civil Engineer located in Basehor, KS. The EIT will be responsible for assisting our civil engineering team in the development and design of land development projects. This Engineer will also work on drafting, design calculations, project analysis, report writing, and administrative tasks. This is an entry level role.

Responsibilities:

• Work on drafting and design projects for land development

• Communicate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and clients to make sure projects are getting completed correctly

• Most of the work will be done in AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Travel to different project sites

• While on project sites will learn how to do Inspection work

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree program in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred

• Some familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of experience in roadway design, storm and sanitary drainage design, water line design, and/or site design preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with a team of engineers and designers

• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, software, and methods
