Re-designing, implementing and continuously improving costing process in collaboration with Process Owners, Finance Organization and Digital & Tech.

Your key responsibilities

  • Master the knowledge of the costing process including:

  • related master data, its rules, maintenance, governance and impact on the process

  • data flows between systems and its transformation within the systems

  • settings of the systems required for the process to function correctly

  • reporting of process-related data in relevant systems

  • Orchestrate changes of data, systems and reports relevant to the process, validate the non-standard changes with the Process Owner, assess their impact on interdependent processes, manage risk and regression testing as well as co-ordinate change management activities such as:

  • documentation, training, communication and champion’s community animation

  • authorizations and SoD compliance

  • ICF adherence and redesign

  • Together with the Process Owner, GES and D&T drive process standardization and harmonization

  • Monitor the process and propose improvements in close collaboration with the Process Owner, GES & D&T

  • Set SLA & KPI targets for the process elements delivered by service providers

  • Together with D&T manage relationships with software suppliers, integrators and service providers

  • Participate in/lead projects within own functional scope

You bring

  • Degree/Diploma qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Minimum 6-8years of relevant finance and accounting experience in multi-national companies’ environment.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with costing and related SAP modules. Willingness to learn and master the costing process across different legacies and systems

  • Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and other departments, to achieve common financial goals and objectives.

  • Analytical Thinking: Applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret financial information and make recommendations based on data-driven insights.

  • Curiosity and ability to investigate and learn interdependencies of costing process with manufacturing, sales and financial processes

  • Problem-solving: Proactively identifying financial challenges, analyzing root causes, and implementing innovative solutions to address them, driving continuous improvement and efficiency in financial operations.

  • Process- & data-oriented mindset

  • Strong communication and presentation skills and being at ease to discuss solutions with senior stakeholder
